New York Pao de Queijo

In Astoria, a middle-class neighborhood located in the northwestern corner of the NYC borough of Queens, there is a tiny shop that we Brazilians would call a “padaria”. A padaria or “padoca”, for short, are bakery-like shops found all over Brazil, serving freshly squeezed juice, hot sandwiches, pastries, acai bowls, breads (like the brazil cheese bread the shop is named after), and more. Stop by for a non-expensive, delicious “lanchinho” or even a meal!
